Mulago Neurosurgeon (brain surgery), Dr. Michael Edgar Muhumuza was earlier in February awarded by Rotary Club of Bukoto with the Vocational Award for 2019/2020.
Muhumuza, a Senior Consultant in Neurology and Neurosurgery, heads Neurosurgery at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Guangxi Medical University in China and a Masters of Medicine in Neurosurgery from Tianjin Medical University. He is a member of the College of East Central and South African Surgeons.
