First Lady, health ministry officials and donors meet to improve sanitation

The First lady and Education Minister Janet Museveni has met health ministry officials and donors to discuss how best to improve water, hygiene and sanitation in the country.
The Minister of State for Health General Duties Robinah Nabbanja led a team of Ministry officials and donors from the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council for the Thursday February 13, 2020 meeting held in Kampala.
Government of Uganda receives funding from Programme for implementation of the Uganda Sanitation Fund (USF) Programme by the Ministry of Health/Environmental Health Department.
The Uganda Sanitation Fund Programme started in Uganda in 2011 with 15 districts and is currently being implemented in 44 districts.
