Health ministry to reward outstanding workers

The Ministry of Health has launched inaugural ‘Heroes In Health Awards’ (HIHA) to recognize and appreciate outstanding health workers.

The awards that are meant to inspire and motivate the workforce, will go to the best performing health workers, entities, organizations and programmes.
According to the ministry, they will be presided over by President Yoweri Museveni on April 3, 2020. To qualify, candidates will be nominated by the public.
